During law school I completed over 300 pro bono hours with the Minnesota Justice Foundation. During that time I worked almost exclusively with Tubman/Chrysalis as a legal advocate on their Safety Project. I assisted women and children seeking orders for protection and harassment restraining orders was a profoundly moving experience. As such, I continue to work with Tubman/Chrysalis representing domestic abuse clients pro bono in their OFP and HRO evidentiary hearings.
Most recently, I also began working with The Advocates for Human Rights as part of their Rapid Response team assisting those affected by the travel ban at the airport. I will also be representing clients at their immigration bond hearings. I’ve also started working with Wills for Heroes, which provides free wills, healthcare directives, and power of attorney documents to first responders and their families.
Please note that I am not currently taking any pro bono clients through this site. I only take on cases directly through Tubman/Chrysalis , The Advocates for Human Rights or Wills for Heroes. If you are in need of pro bono services related to domestic violence or immigration issues, please contact those programs directly. Or you can contact the Volunteer Lawyers Network for those and other legal issues.
